I created this group of letterforms from ketchup and decided to turn it into a brand. Why not hit the nail in the head and make a condiment brand focusing on ketchup, mustard, and every other condiment?
What excited me the most was creating the packaging onto an everyday, restaurant-style bottle so that others can create their heart’s desire with the condiments they purchase.
Made a poster by hand while I was taking a serigraphy course. It was really cool to experience the tactical quality of designing and physically making a poster and using a paper bag to stimulate another form of packaging. Something about the imperfections of the actual printing process brought a whole new life to my project.
Overall, I think this brand that I created was a perfect close to form making, which made us think outside of the box and just make things without hesitation. I had a lot of fun and would love to expand on this further in the future and use the techniques I learned again for other projects!
