A brand developed from a ketchup-based group of letterforms. Making the use of condiments FUN! Write out your own words and shapes with our specially branded products made just for your visually appealing meal. Bring form into function ONTO food!

I created this group of letterforms out of ketchup and decided to expand a brand from it. Why not hit the nail in the head and make a condiment brand focusing on ketchup and mustard? What really excited me the most is creating the packaging on an everyday, restaurant-style bottle so others can create words or shapes with the condiments they purchase. The main aspect of my design is to create!

I took on the idea that I wanted to make my poster by hand since I was taking a serigraphy course. It was really cool to experience the tactical quality of making a poster and using a paper bag to stimulate another form of packaging. Something about the imperfections of the actual printing process brought a whole new life to my project.

Overall, I think this brand that I created was a perfect close to form making which made us think outside of the box and just make things. I had a lot of fun and would love to expand on this further in the future and use the techniques I learned again for other projects!
